Ingredients
-1 cup of white sugar
-½ cup of unsalted butter
-2 eggs
-2-3 teaspoons of vanilla extract
-1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour
-1 ¾ teaspoon baking powder
-½ cup of milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease either a 9 inch square pan, a ten inch circle pan, or put 12 muffin liners in a cupcake tin.
- Cream butter and sugar together.
- Add one egg at a time and mix.
- Add vanilla into the batter and mix.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour and baking powder together.
- Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients while mixing.
- Add milk to the batter and stir until smooth.
- Add to your plan of choice and bake for 30-40 minutes.
- Frost the cake with your favorite icing: vanilla, chocolate or strawberry are good choices.
- Add sprinkles if you have them!
