Materials Needed

-White glue
-Baking soda
-Contact solution (needs to contain boric acid)
-Food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup of white glue with a few drops of food coloring (optional).
  2. Add 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda and mix well.
  3. Slowly add 1 tablespoon of contact lens solution while stirring until the mixture thickens into slime.
  4. Knead the slime with your hands until it reaches your desired consistency.

Explanation: The baking soda and boric acid in the contact lens solution react to form long chains of polymers, creating slime.
